Shaun Castillo
PRESIDENT
As President of Pref-Tech, Shaun is responsible for everything Pref-Tech does and fails to do. He takes great pride in leading the exceptional men and women of Pref-Tech that, on a daily basis, strive hard to satisfy our customers, provide the highest-quality solutions, and steadily improve Pref-Tech's role in the market.
Shaun served as Pref-Tech's Vice President of Operations for four years before becoming the company's President in 2009. Prior to Pref-Tech, Shaun served as an officer in the United States Army until he was Honorably Discharged in July of 2005. During his tenure he held various positions as a Field Artillery Officer stationed in Fort Sill, OK; Fort Carson, CO; and Fort Chaffee, AR. His service also includes a year of combat operations in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Shaun is a 2000 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Charlie Castillo
VICE PRESIDENT
With his many years of Corporate and Industry experience, Charlie Castillo, serves as the Executive Vice President of Preferred Technologies, Inc. As a founding member of the company, Charlie is very involved in formulating and directing the continued growth of the Company.
Prior to starting his first company, Integrated Telecommunications, Inc. in 1988, Charlie served in the US Air Force and Texas Air National Guard for seven years. In 2000 Charlie sold ITI to NetVersant Solutions where he held Regional Responsibilities with NetVersant until his departure in 2005.
When not working Charlie enjoys hunting in the outdoors, dancing across Texas and spending time with his grandchildren.
Grady Jett
VICE PRESIDENT SALES
From design-estimation to the final sale, Grady is responsible leading a team of design-estimators and salesmen to generate Pref-Tech's annual sales goals for structured cabling systems, electronic security systems, audio visual systems, wireless systems and perimeter intrusion detection and assessment systems. Grady began his career in a different branch of security. As a graduate from The United States Military Academy at West Point, Grady was commissioned into the Army and spent 5 years securing our nations freedoms. After his tenure in the Army, Grady relocated to Houston and has been with Pref-Tech since its inception in 2005. When he's not looking for the next Pref-Tech opportunity, Grady enjoys spending time with his family and friends and never passes the opportunity to chase big game in the outdoors.
Jeff Ferguson
VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS
Jeff is responsible for leading Pref-Tech's Operations team, ensuring that all projects are coordinated, resourced and installed in accordance with Pref-Tech's high standards for quality and customer satisfaction. Jeff joined the Pref-Tech team in 2008 after serving 10 years as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army. When he's not leading the operational force, Jeff enjoys hunting and spending time with his family.
Wylan LeMaire
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As Chief Financial Officer, Wylan is responsible for the stewardship of all company assets, as well as the Human Resource function of Pref-Tech. Along with other executive members, he ensures all efforts of the Company are both focused and strategically in-line with serving the great people and customers of Pref-Tech.
Wylan is a veteran of the United States Army and served as a medical Non-Commissioned Officer. He is also a Texas licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and holds national certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Wylan is a 2002 graduate of the University of Houston - Clear Lake.
